Now a month away from the restart of the 2020 NVA season, the Utah Stingers are getting primed and ready to host one of the most significant events in league history. The event will be the first professional volleyball tournament in Utah and the first time that all eight teams will meet to compete against each other. Utah is known for its impressive volleyball fan base with over 3,000 at every BYU match. The NVA hopes that the same electric atmosphere can happen to these games. Due to the current state of the COVID-19 virus, it is still not entirely clear how many fans can attend. However, even a fraction of the turnout typically seen at those collegiate matches would make this kick-off even more memorable. Regardless of that though, all matches will be livestreamed, so you will be able to catch all four days of action from anywhere!

Below are the times when the Utah Stingers will be playing over the weekend:

Nov. 5, 8:00 AM PST: Utah Stingers vs. Ontario Matadors

Nov. 5, 6:00 PM PST: Utah Stingers vs. Tennessee Tyrants

Nov. 6, 8:30 PM PST: Utah Stingers vs. LA Blaze

Nov. 7 & 8, TBD: Knockout rounds and Finals

The final matchups for the last day will be decided by the group stage, taking place the first two days. The event will be held at the Utah Athletic Center 51 River Bend Way #230 ,North Salt Lake, UT 84054. Make sure to follow the Utah Stingers (@utahstingers) and the NVA (@nvausa) on Instagram and download the NVA app to receive updates about the tournament details!
